How to delete your account

You can request account deletion through our support team. Opening the email link below starts a request; it does not immediately delete your account.

Updated 23 October 2026

1. Send your request

Email [email protected] with the subject UPSC.one account deletion request. Send it from your registered email where possible. If you signed in using a phone number, mention that sign-in method so support can arrange ownership verification. Do not send an OTP, password, card details or authentication tokens.

2. Verify ownership

Support will verify that the account belongs to you before removing access or account information. This protects you against someone else requesting deletion. We will confirm the outcome by email; submitting a request alone is not confirmation that deletion is complete.

3. Understand what changes

Deletion removes your account access and associated profile information that is no longer needed. You will lose access to the subscription attached to that account. A deletion request does not automatically issue a refund; eligible payment issues can be submitted under the refund policy.

Necessary transaction, accounting, security, fraud-prevention or legally required records may be retained. Support can explain what must be retained for your request. First-party analytics events are tab-session based and exclude account identifiers; their retention period is up to 180 days.

4. Clear progress on your devices

Bookmarks, revision progress, quiz results and listening activity are stored in your browser. Sign out on each device, then clear UPSC.one site data in your browser settings if you want to remove remaining local data and caches. This cannot be cleared remotely through an email request. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account.
